Bonus Episode 17 - Hidden Objects, Strange Paths, and Quiet Clues
Vocabulary for Chapter 3 Part 4 of Le Pagine del Passato.
This episode begins at a market.
Not a crowded one.
Not particularly loud.
Just a small outdoor space…
where a few objects have been set aside.
Un anello, inside a glass case.
Un medaglione, coperto di polvere.
Un braccialetto d’argento, catching the light.
You look at them.
You name them.
And then… something doesn’t quite settle.
Because one of them isn’t exactly what it seems.
Mystery Objects
We start with what we can see.
An anello that feels familiar.
A medaglione that suggests history.
A braccialetto… or at least, something that looks like one.
The shapes are precise.
Deliberate.
As if they were meant to be read.
Geroglifiche.
Incise.
Waiting.
This is the kind of vocabulary that asks you to slow down.
Movement & Actions
Then something interrupts your thoughts.
Passi dietro di te.
Qualcuno si è girata.
A question is asked.
A direction is given.
You follow it.
Raggiungere.
Percorse.
And just as the path begins to make sense…
something interrupts.
Not part of the scene.
But impossible to ignore.
Communication & Clarity
Now the voices come closer.
Qualcuno ha mormorato.
A response follows:
È ovvio.
Naturalmente.
Simple words.
Confident words.
But the meaning isn’t always as clear as it sounds.
Places
Eventually, you arrive somewhere open.
Una collina.
Una scala.
Le strade sotto di te.
Clear lines.
Simple positions.
And yet, everything feels connected to what came before.

In this bonus episode, you will hear the words in context…
then again in Italian…
then you work with them yourself through active recalls and mini quizzes.
And this time… the lesson doesn’t stay perfectly contained.
Because somewhere just outside it,
Luca and Sara have decided they would like a bit more… visibility.
And they’re not being particularly quiet about it.
